Just spent part of my evening sewing a couple of new creatures out of left over scraps of material.
First up, it’s Signore Moustachio:
And his friend, Fishy McGee, made from an old piece of lobster patterned material, and with some old buttons for eyes:
These two will be joining the infamous TigerBum, who was the first material creature I ever made, a couple of years ago now.
He’s named TigerBum due to the unusual stripes of fur across his bottom:
And here they all are together. A happy family of material creatures:
To photograph the little beasts I created a miniature makeshift photography studio on the floor or my study. The lighting was far from perfect, and it took a fair bit of manoeuvring to get them to stand up properly, but I think the pictures came out alright in the end.
